Pakistan prisoner attacked in India jail dies

A Pakistani captive locked up in Native indian has passed away after he was assaulted by another offender in an obvious vengeance strike for the loss of life of an Native indian captive in Pakistani jail.

Sanaullah Haq, also known as Sanaullah Ranjay, who was confessed to a medical center in north Native indian town of Chandigarh with serious head injuries, had experienced kidney failing late on Wed, the physician said on Friday.

"His situation was extremely critical. He passed away morning," a mature physician at the govt medical center said on situation of privacy.

"Although it's short comfort I'd like to offer a honest apology to the family of Sanaullah Haq and my sympathies for their loss," Omar Abdullah, the primary reverend of Jammu and Kashmir state where Haq had been locked up since 1999, had written on Twitter
 on Friday.

Last week, Pakistan said the attack was "condemnable" and called on Native indian to penalize the enemy. Native indian said it regretted Pakistan prisoner attacked in India jail dies the occurrence and gave consular access to Ranjay.

The medical center would hand over the body to two of his family members who had came in Native indian from Pakistani town of Sialkot "as per the guidelines of the government", the physician said.

Ranjay, who has been providing jail term for a 90's blast strike that murdered 10 people, was assaulted by a captive determined as a former Native indian military knight just 24 hours after Sarabjit Singh's loss of life in a Lahore jail that attracted strong reaction from Native indian.

Last few days protesters took to the roads in Pakistan-administered Kashmir to demonstration against the strike on Ranjay.

The jail assault could fuel stress between nuclear-armed Native indian and Pakistan, whose interaction were hit by a boundary flare-up a few months ago.

The neighbors have battled two of their three conflicts over the questioned region of Kashmir, which they each control in part but claim in full.

New Delhi says 535 Native indian criminals, including 483 fishers, are in Pakistani prisons, while 272 Pakistani criminals are behind bars in Native indian.
